Just in time for the weekend, I bring you a new feature that I’ve come up with.
The In My Bedroom series of mixes will (hopefully) be monthly, starting this month (hoping next month’s installment will get recorded in Seattle with Matty C, and go down in history with our drunken, 3 hour, overnight dnb mix from 2004).
The only real constructs I have for these mixes are to pick a beginning and ending track, and then somehow fill in the hour between them. That being said, this month I was in a disco-y mood, for the most part, but ended up with the mix moving from disco-y, to deep. It’s not perfect, it’s not really even that good, but it is the first in a series. I’m only going to give each mix 1 go, and I’m not going to plan out more than the first and end tracks. I like to think of this mix as a good mix for the drive out to the bars/clubs at the beginning, and good for the drive home at the end.
